About Volusia County Criminal History

Volusia County criminal records are split among the Sheriff's Office, Clerk of the Circuit Court, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Florida Department of Corrections, and Florida Sexual Offenders and Predators Search. This private reference site organizes those official channels so readers can identify the right portal, counter, address, or telephone line without confusing one type of record with another.

Why We Built This Site

Florida provides broad public-record access, yet each Volusia office keeps a different piece. The county Division of Corrections holds booking and custody data. The arresting agency keeps its own incident reports. The Clerk maintains filed charges, docket events, dispositions, and court copies. FDLE operates statewide criminal-history checks and the public registry, while the Florida Department of Corrections reports prison and supervision information. We organize verified contacts, request routes, fees, and search steps for these distinct custodians.

What You Will Find Here

  • Record guides: how criminal court cases are searched and read in Volusia County
  • Official check steps: how FDLE name searches and identity-based personal reviews differ
  • Record relief basics: how Florida sealing and expunction begin with the correct disposition and FDLE process

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site, not part of a Florida court, law-enforcement office, or state agency. Its role has firm limits:

  • We cannot issue a certified court document, rap sheet, or agency record
  • We cannot submit a public-record request or sealing or expunction filing for a reader
  • We cannot run an official criminal-history check
  • We cannot interpret a charge or offer legal advice about a specific case
  • We cannot promise that an agency's fee, address, or schedule has not changed

Only the originating office, such as VSO, the Volusia Clerk, or FDLE, can provide its official record. Copies must come directly from that custodian.

Search Partners

Third-party providers power search boxes on some pages. They control their services, results, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports this free reference resource. We do not set partner charges or decide which information their products return.
